Getting married in Derby
Venues:
There are some good wedding venues in Derbyshire, including the Forte Posthouse, the Indian Community Centre, Mackworth Hotel and the Midland Hotel. Swallow Hotel and for something a little different look at The Reception Room in the Council House in Derby Town Hall. Slightly out of town there are also some really great photogenic options. One really great venue is Elvaston Castle, Elvaston and the Homestead in Sponden. Also in Sponden it is worth looking at Locko Park Country House. There are other excelent local venues, I suggest looking at Kedleston Hall, the Marriott Breadsall Priory Hotel & country club in Morley, the Mickleover Court Hotel and the Park Farmhouse Hotel in Isley Walton
Portraits and portraiture
if needed, as your wedding photographer, I can use a photographic studio in the nearby city centre of Nottingham, where I can shoot bridal portraits in a quiet relaxed atmosphere. Often couples planning a wedding opt for an engagement photo shoot, which sometimes is used in the wedding invitations, and place cards for the wedding breakfast. If you do not fancy a studio photo session, there are plenty of other suitable locations in Nottinghamshire, which are perfect for a Bridal portrait
