Getting married in Newark on Trent

Newark on Trent is an attractive market town that is steeped in history. It boasts 12th C castle remains and grounds, and many interesting buildings through the town

Venues:
There are a plethora of great venues and churches in Newark on Trent.
Churches in Newark include the modern RC Holy Trinity Church, and the really pretty St. Mary Magdalene, which is Newark's parish church. Smaller churches include the Barnbygate Methodist Chapel and London Road Congregational Chapel. For venues, which are not churches, look at the Eastwood Hall Conference Centre and Thoresby Hall Hotel & Spa (which is also always a favourite with the ladies for a pampering day!) Also worth look at is the beautifully decorated exquisite Victorian mansion called Kelham Hall, which is set in 42 acres of grounds!

Portraits and portraiture

If needed, as your wedding photographer, as part of your photography package I can hire a photographic studio in the nearby city of Nottingham, which is about 40 minutes away from Newark on Trent. At this photographic studio I can shoot bridal portraits in a quiet relaxed atmosphere. Often couples planning a wedding opt for an engagement photo shoot, which sometimes is used in the wedding invitations, and place cards for the wedding breakfast. If you do not fancy a studio photo session, there are plenty of other suitable locations local to Newark on Trent, which are just perfect for a bridal portrait

Location
Newark on Trent is situated about 30 away from Nottingham, and close to the A1 and A46 trunk roads. Southwell is 15 minutes drive away
