Southwell
Southwell is a lovely place to get married in. Southwell is a quiet small country market town, between Nottingham and Newark. Southwell has a few really nice churches, but its dominant feature is Southwell Minster, which is a magnificent dream venue. For a smaller venue, look at the Holy Trinity church. If you were looking for a hotel venue, then the quaint Saracen’s Head Hotel would be at the top of the list, conveniently placed in the town centre

Portraits and portraiture

if needed, as your wedding photographer, I can use a photographic studio near the town centre of Nottingham, where I can shoot bridal portraits in a quiet relaxed atmosphere. Often couples planning a wedding opt for an engagement photo shoot, which sometimes is used in the wedding invitations, and place cards for the wedding breakfast. If you do not fancy a studio photo session, there are plenty of other suitable locations in Nottinghamshire, which are perfect for a Bridal portrait

Location
Southwell is about 15 minutes from Nottingham, and is about 15 minuets from Newark. It is conveniently situated in the East Midlands, with Newark on Trent, Mansfield, Nottingham, Derby and Leicester close by

Transport

Getting to Southwell is easy, close to the M1, and the East Midlands airport. Trains stop fairly locally in Nottingham, and Newark
